Dales Way
The Dales Way is an 80-mile long-distance footpath in Northern England, from Ilkley, West Yorkshire, to Bowness-on-Windermere.
The path begins in Ilkley, a market town at the eastern edge of the Dales and takes a route through Wharfedale and Dentdale, before crossing into the foothills of the Lake District to finish on the shores of Lake Windermere
The most widely recognised as the first leg of the famous Dales Way Walk is the Ilkley to Bolton Abbey and return on Dales Bus.
This walk follows the Dales Way and the River Wharfe from Ilkley to Addingham and Bolton Abbey.
